The Philippine College of Health Sciences Inc. a school founded by Dr. George Cordero in 1993 and is located at Recto Avenue in Manila. ==History== The Philippine Colleges of Health Sciences, Inc. (PCHS) was born on February 1, 1993, the birthday of its first President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr. George Cordero. The School was conceived as complimentary to Dr. Cordero's review center, the Institute for Review and Special Studies popularly known as INRESS. PCHS first location was a 3 story rented building with 10 classrooms in Coromina's St. along Claro M. Recto Avenue. Dr. Cordero was installed as President in 1996. Dr. Cordero was the center of a corruption scandal when in June 2006 he used his office as Philippine Nursing Association national president to secure licensing examination answers for INRESS and PCHS students. PCHS opened its doors on June 1994 with 124 students, the first baccalaureate program it offered are Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Medical Radiology and X-ray Technology and Psychology. Its graduate programs include Masteral degrees in Nursing, Education, and Public Administration. It also offers doctoral programs in Educational Management (EdD), Mathematics Education (PhD), and Business Management (PhD), all of which contributed to its student population growth which now almost reached three thousand enrollments.
